Your essential course materials all in one place at moodle.seniorcollege.com.au
oodle is an open-source learning management system (LMS) that serves as a virtual learning environment. Teachers at the College utilise Moodle in a variety of ways. Some teachers administer all course via the Moodle site for their subject. Other teachers use Moodle as a platform to distribute assessment tasks, extension work and any additional material that may help you in your studies.
Every subject offered at the College has a Moodle site or 'course' available that provides assessment tasks, assessment schedules and key syllabus documents for those subjects.
Upon enrolment at the College you will be provided with your Moodle login (same as your Portal/Internet/email login), a brief lesson on how to navigate the interface and and submit assignments. As your Moodle account is linked to your timetable you will be enrolled in a Moodle site for each of your subjects automatically.
It is important that you attend the Technology Essentials sessions offered as part of the Week 4 program for Year 11 students to obtain this information as well as other technology information that will assist you in your studies at CHSC.
The College is moving toward a new learning management system, called Stile. You can access this at http://stile.seniorcollege.com.au
